CAC - Archery  Challenge : Giving Back

Our mission is to Inform and Involve Caring Sportsmen & Sportswomen in the Children's Archery Challenge Benefit Shoot for The Purpose of Meaningfully Giving Something Back to Our Community. A Legacy of Giving!

In 1999 a group of archery clubs decided to give back to the community and the Children's Archery Challenge is the result. A five year goal was set to raise over $100,000 dollars. That five year goal was met and surpassed. Come join us in the foothills outside of Boise as we continue to have fun and raise the much needed funds that give our children a fighting chance and help tip the scales of survival in their favor. These children have the will to survive and the spirit of true champions. We ask for your help in whatever means you have weather it be time, talents or money.

A Story of A Special Child Helped By Generous People Like You!

Blake Lyon's third birthday was all about ponies. There were real pony rides for the kids at his party, and there was a new stick pony for him. Three days later, Blake and his stick pony "Cookie" took a fall down a small cement step. Blake seemed okay at first. But 10 minutes later, everything changed. But when Mother's Day came five days later, she got the gift of a lifetime: Blake suddenly awoke from his coma. And more miraculous still, he had no apparent physical or mental delays. In fact, he gave his doctor a high-five and was released from the hospital months earlier than expected.

Now an energetic 6-year-old, Blake still loves ponies.

Don't miss this 3D shoot, complete with great targets, novelty targets, Auction (with great items), Dutch Oven Dinner, Beginner Archer Classes, Kids Zone and much more!

Blake suffered a seizure and lost consciousness as his babysitter rushed him to the hospital. When his parents arrived, the news was grim. He had suffered a traumatic head injury that necessitated surgery to relieve his mounting pressure on his brain. "They told us the chances didn't look good for him to survive surgery," said Blake's mom, Kim.
